Your main tasks will include:
Developing system solutions and carrying out comprehensive system developments
Developing and formulating requirements for C2 systems in the area of ground-based air defence
Application of familiar tools and languages from the field of requirements engineering (IBM DOORS)
Design of systems with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach
Technical management of complex development tasks
Creation of system and interface specifications
Design and implementation of system verifications
Collaboration in trials, field tests and customer acceptance tests at home and abroad
University degree in engineering in one of the following fields: Robotics, Systems and Control, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Mathematics.
Experience in the field of air defence or air force, ideally as a staff officer
General military experience also in the field of mechanised units is an advantage
Knowledge of at least one of these areas: Radar technology, laser technology, electric motors, image processing, infrared technology, real-time systems, measurement technology
Very familiar with DOORS, ideally with MBSE tools such as CAMEO
High degree of independence and ability to work in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams
Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
