Software Engineer Smart Sensors (m/f/d)

Specifically, you can expect the following:

• Technical responsibility for a technology field in connection with the topics of product digitization, data business and predictive maintenance.

• Creation of roadmaps, concepts and system architectures in the area of smart sensors, distributed systems and their networking (IT networks and cloud)

• Implementation and programming of algorithms and technology demonstrators, as well as support of the line in the transfer in the products

• Technical supervision of temporary staff and interns

• Support in the acquisition of and participation in studies in cooperation with universities and institutions

• University degree ETH/FH in a technical discipline, PhD an advantage.

• Versatile developer with experience as software architect and in programming in C/C++ (Python, Java and others advantageous)

• Practical experience in the field of algorithm design, discrete optimization methods, computer vision, machine learning and/or data science / data mining

• Confident handling of Linux on embedded systems and/or servers and familiar with IT security topics

• Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken

• Innovative personality who is comfortable working in an academic environment and can get others excited about technology
