Production Manager Electromechanics (m/f/d)

As Production Manager Electromechanics (m/f/d) you will be responsible in a key function for a modern and partly automated production (quantities > 100,000 pcs/year) at Rheinmetall Air Defence AG. You will lead, motivate and develop your employees (approx. 60 employees). In doing so, you will ensure and improve the requirements-oriented process in your department.

Specifically, you will take on the following tasks:

• Management of the production in time, quantity and quality according to planning specifications

• Monitoring, controlling and optimizing current production processes, especially with regard to customer-oriented order processing

• Optimization of processes, lead times and structures in the sense of a continuous improvement process

• Target-oriented approach to technical problems, changes and deviations from the normal case in production

• Expansion and assurance of LEAN production with a high degree of value added

• Management of employees incl. personnel and shift planning

• Professional coordination of task processing

• Customer contact and support

• Reporting to the superior

• Completed training as an electronics technician, polymechanic or comparable

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering

• Completed postgraduate diploma in the economic field

• Several years of management experience required

• Experience in the field of component manufacturing as well as in principles of LEAN management

• Confident handling of MS Office applications as well as previous knowledge in the use of SAP

• Business fluent German as well as good English skills
