WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Development of C2 systems in the area of ground-based air defence, from concept to implementation to functional verification.

  • Integration into stationary and mobile air defence systems

  • Technical leadership of complex, only roughly defined development tasks, for which the solution path must be determined partly independently, but also in cooperation with other technical departments

  • Responsibility for functional performance, processes, interfaces, algorithms

  • Multiple interfaces, e.g. system engineering, software development, test/integration

  • Design and implementation of system verifications

  • Participation in trials, field tests and customer acceptance tests at home and abroad

  • Possibility to take over the management of complex development projects at a later stage

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • FH/ETH university degree in engineering, physics or mathematics.

  • Experience in the field of air defence or air force, ideally as a staff officer. General military experience also in the area of mechanised units is an advantage.

  • High degree of independence and at the same time ability to work in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams.

  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills

  • In-depth knowledge of radar technology, laser technology, image processing, infrared technology, real-time systems, measurement technology would be an advantage

  • Ideally with DOORS and MBSE tools such as CAMEO

  • Flexibility for short stays in the customer's country (few days to single weeks)
